CENTRAL GOVERNMENT DIDN'T APPROVE THE AIIMS HOSPITAL IN MADURAI -RTI :

       Central government didn't approve the AIIMS Hospital in Madurai-RTI:


 
            The Ministry of Health and Family welfare selected a five places in tamilnadu for the Establishment of new AIIMS hospitals in Tamilnadu. Madurai ,Thoppur is the one of the place they selected to set up a new AIIMS hospital in Tamilnadu.
    
          The Central Government put some few conditions for the establishment of New AIIMS in Madurai.
   
      1. The state should provide a four lane connectivity from the national highway to the site apart from ensuring 20MVA of power supply from two different feeders in addition to adequate water supply.

      2. It should handover land free of encumbrances make sure that there is shifting of low tension transformers.

     3.An agreement is to be made with Indian Oil Corporation ltd before finalising the Project.

            In this Case , Hakim a member of  Madurai People's Awareness Foundation has raised some questions through the Health and Financial Committee.He also asked ,When will be AIIMS project Starts in Madurai And How much Funds are Allocated for this project.

         The Central Health Government replied, According to the RTI ,the Union Cabinet has not yet Provide the approvel for AIIMS in Madurai and also the funds are not Yet Finalized.

             Tamilnadu health minister Vijay Bhaskar said ,
There is a lot works are going on here.we will meet the Central Government on 8th , There is no barrier in setting up AIIMS hospital in madurai ,its huge project and the Government will take action gradually.
