PETROL AND DIESEL PRICES WILL BE CUT BY RS.2.50 PER LITRE -ARUN JAITLEY:


        Central Government announces Rs.2.50 per litre relief on Petrol and Diesel Prices,And they asks State governments to cut VAT by Rs.2.50/ litre .

       Finance Minister Arun Jaitley announced a cut of Rs.1.50 in Excise duty for petrol and Diesel.Oil companies also dropped  Rs.1 for Petrol and Diesel.

      He appealed to the states to match the centre's effort by reducing VAT (Value Added Tax) by Rupees 2.50 so that the benefits to citizens atleast Rupees 5.the new rates will be applicable from midnight.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani:

           Gujarat CM,Vijay Rupani says,"Finance Minister Arunjaitley Ji has announced a cut in petrol & diesel prices for Rs.2.5 reciprocating positively to FM's announcement, the Govt of Gujarat has also decided to reduce Rs.2.50 on both petrol & diesel. Thus petrol & diesel would be Rs. 5 cheaper in the State of Gujarat" he tweeted on his official Handle.

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis:

        Maharashtra Cheif minister Devendra said, Maharashtra Government also decided to give additional relief of Rs 2.5 / liter on petrol to give total benefit of ₹ 5/ litre in the state of Maharashtra.
